How do you grieve a pain that will forever haunt you? How do you forgive somebody for damaging a part of you for the rest of your life? How can you just let it go?

By accepting that what happened happened. By accepting that there was nothing that you could do.

By accepting that you came to this planet with the plan of experiencing this trauma to learn from it yourself, or so that others may learn.

It served a purpose even if you can’t see it now.

Realize that you chose this path before you were physically born. Cling to the bigger picture and have faith that what happened is what was supposed to happen.

Find acceptance of this divine plan and let go of any attachment that you may have about how things should have been.

View it with compassion, forgiveness and love.

And give it time.
